Works and transport Gen Katumba Wamala has survived an assassination attempt at Kisota, Bukoto-Kisaasi in Kampala.
Gen Wamala, a former UPDF commander, was heading to a burial for his mother-in-law in Namasuba on the morning of June 01.
The general was rushed to Malcom Clinic, and plans to drive him to Nakasero Hospital, were by publication time, under way.
The minister was said to be in a stable condition.
