Uganda Sports Press Association (Uspa) president Patrick Kanyomozi has written an emotional love letter to his wife Lucky Rahmah Mbabazi on their 11th anniversary.
Famous for his funny posts on social media, Kanyomozi compared the battle to win the Capital FM presenter’s heart to NRA’s Kabamba attack.
Here’s Kanyomozi’s funny and lovely letter to Lucky Mbabazi on their anniversary:
On this day in 2010, I attacked Kabamba.
Earlier, I had met a very beautiful lady who I later became very good friends with.
We got so close that people outside work thought we were brother and sister.
Now problems came when I later developed very strong feelings for her.
After months of strategising and gathering courage, I attacked on this day.
The first attempt was disaster like Elly Tumwine prematurely firing his gun, I vividly remember the tough look on her face when she said “P are you mad?we are friends”.
But I never gave up.
She was my friend so I knew everything about her, I knew how tough she was naye nasigala numba mu lo, sometimes mu ‘robadob’ style.
She would later start telling me to go with the flow,up to now I ask her what she exactly meant.
Huh naye wankyunya baby, olabika wali okola mu drone before 😎
Long story short, a year later, I captured Kampala. She introduced me to her parents and like they say, the rest is history.
My love Rahmah Mbabazi Kanyomozi I don’t have to wait for next Valentines Day, Mother’s Day, Women’s Day or your birthday to celebrate you.
I celebrate you every day for being the best wife, mother and a very supportive partner.
My rock, my support system and my best friend.
I fall in love with you every single day and it’s a wonderful feeling.
If I were to marry again, I would marry you without a second thought because in you I found everything I ever and would have ever needed in a partner.
I love you my Chibubu, Mukyala wange omu bwati.
You are the most beautiful woman in the world, on the outside and inside.
May the Almighty grant us many more years together, to attend our great grand children’s weddings.
