Since this is the first time Uganda National Examinations Board (Uneb) will be administering examinations under the new lower secondary curriculum, there are no past papers to look at. But there are sample UCE 2024 New Curriculum Papers.
Hundreds of thousands of candidates will be sitting their Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) examinations under the New Lower Secondary Curriculum (NLSC). Briefing is scheduled for October 11.
As Uneb officials like Florence Buyinza Agola, the Manager of Examinations Development, have previously explained, the goal of the new curriculum is to create lifelong learners who can adapt to the changing world.
As Uneb seeks to help in efforts to get quality graduates, Buyinza explained a few months ago, implementing holistic learning, valid and reliable assessment of the NLSC, and full participation of all stakeholders.
In this first part, The Pearl Times publishes sample UCE 2024 New Curriculum Papers and marking guides that candidates and teachers can look at in preparation for the final examinations.
