FULL LIST: See Names of Students Admitted Under District Quota Scheme at Makerere, MUBS, Kyambogo, MUST & Other Public Universities

The list of students admitted under the District Quota scheme of government sponsorship for Makerere University, Kyambogo, and other public universities for the 2023-2024 academic year has been released.

The other public universities to which the students have been admitted are: Kabale, Muni, Busitema, Gulu, Mbarara University of Science and Technology (Must) and Makerere University Business School (Mubs), Lira, Mountains of the Moon University, and Soroti University.

At least six districts from each of the over 130 districts have been selected to benefit from the quota system for the academic year which begins next month.

These hundreds of students have been recommended for admission to a number of courses or academic programmes subject to verification by their districts. This means that some can be removed from the list if it is discovered that they were illegally included or did not qualify.

Meanwhile, the list of students admitted under the disability scheme of government sponsorship has also been released. Up to 64 students with different disabilities from various districts have been admitted under this scheme.

Also released is the list of 115 students admitted on government sponsorship under the sports scheme.
