The Office of the Academic Registrar at Makerere University has released the admission lists for students under government sponsorship for the 2024-2025 academic year.
The lists indicate the names, schools and the cut off points scored by each of the students admitted on government sponsorship.
Those admitted under this scheme are the best performers in the 2023 Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) examination results released a few months ago.
Lists for other government sponsorship schemes are expected in coming weeks.
Makerere University is still receiving applications for admissions under the private sponsorship scheme, with the deadline being the end of May 2024.
