Presidential advisor on youths and artists Jennifer Nakanguubi aka Full Figure has warned Ugandans against joining any protests by National Unity Platform (NUP) presidential candidate Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine after the singer-turned-politician flew his children to Texas, US, just one week before the January 14 elections.
There have been fears of post-election violence, with the State claiming Bobi Wine is working with foreign agents to cause chaos after the 2021 election.
“He is telling people’s kids to participate in Violence and chaos and today his family has left to USA; he can’t lose any of them. I always tell you: ‘you are there shouting ‘struggle, but have you ever seen Mikie Wine [Bobi Wine’s brother] in protests; be there behaving foolishly,” Full Figure wrote on January 06.
“He has made all his kids to vacate/ leave the country as soon as possible, so he can threaten other people’s children properly. Imagine such a person, why don’t you let your children to go on Frontline so that they also protest; you want to kill other people’s children when yours are safe.
“Don’t you wish your children to live in the new Uganda you have been promising other people. Shame on you opportunist; all lives matter.”
