The burial program for Simon Lokodo, the former ethics and integrity minister, has been released.

There have mixed reactions on the legacy of Lokodo.
His enemies such as members and activists pushing for LGBTQI and women rights such as Dr Stella Nyanzi have prayed that he rots in hell. (Read story here).
UHRC has reportedly asked for Shs500m to pay Lokodo’s hospital bills and repatriate his body from Switzerland. (Read story here).
Now, a tentative program released February 01 morning shows that the body is expected in the country on Thursday, February 03, 2022.
The following day, Friday, February 04, the body will be taken to Parliament for a special session where MPs will pay tribute to their former colleague.
On the same day, a requiem mass will take place at Christ the King Church in Kampala.
On Saturday, February 05, the Kaboong District Local Government Council will hold a special sitting in honor of the former minister. After this session, there will be a requiem mass at the Uganda Martyrs Catholic Church in Kaabong.
Lokodo will then be laid to rest at Kapedo on Sunday, February 06.
