An April 27 morning fire has burnt at least two dormitories at King’s College Budo.
According to Kampala Metropolitan Police (KMP) deputy spokesperson Luke Owoyesigyire, the fire started at about 7am.
“The Police Fire and rescue services have responded to a fire outbreak break at Kings college Buddo today in the morning. The fire is believed to have started from one building housing the senior 3 an 1 dormitories at around 7am while students were for their morning preparations,” said Owoyesigyire.
“So far , fire and rescue have managed to contain the fire from spreading any further.”
No student was reported to have been injured in the fire by publication time.
