A Ugandan man living and working in Europe was left in tears after DNA test results confirmed that all the six children he had always thought were his biological sons and daughters were not his.
According to the Directorate of Citizenship and Immigration Control (DCIC) under Uganda’s Ministry of Internal Affairs, it all started when the man had a quarrel with his wife.
In the heat of the bitter exchange of words, the angry woman told her husband that he was not man enough and that he was not the biological father of some of the six children.
The wife would later apologize to her man. But the man took the statement on some of the children not being his as a red flag.
He took a step to try and understand the claims his wife made in the heat of the quarrel.
The man, rich and well educated, decided to secretly go for DNA tests at the Wandegeya-based Directorate of Government Analytical Laboratory (DGAL).
The man did not believe the DGAL results which indicated that he was not the biological father of all the six children he had always thought were his.
He decided to send samples to both South Africa and Canada for more tests.
The tests conducted in these countries confirmed what the DGAL one had already indicated.
“When the DGAL results were out, he contested them. However, being a person of means, we advised him to take samples to other laboratories,” DCIC Spokesperson Simon Peter Mundeyi revealed.
“He took some samples to Canada and others to South Africa. All the samples confirmed what our DGAL had found out, that none of the six children was his.”
This shocked man is the latest to suffer disappointment following DNA testing. As we reported recently, a city tycoon was left in tears after DNA test results confirmed that he was not the biological father of 11 of ‘his children.’ (See Details Here).
