FAT SALARIES: See Very Attractive Salaries of Museveni’s Aeroplane Crew

The salary structure for aviation presidential crew for FY 2024/2025 shows very fat salaries for the men and women working on President Yoweri Museveni’s air transport. Not unexpected, the salaries in the aviation industry are generally high compared to national minimum wage averages.

The highest paid according to the salary structure for aviation – presidential crew for FY 2024/2025 is the Executive Director who earns Shs 32,165,547 per month, translating to 385,986,564 every year.

This is followed by a Chief Pilot who earns Shs 30,257,813 every month, making it Shs 363, 093, 756 every year. The monthly salary of a chief engineer is Shs 29,376,818, translating into 352, 518, 2161 annually.

A Captain earns Shs 28,520,891 every month or Shs 342,250,692 annually. A Pilot earns Shs 27,690,185 per month or Shs 332,282,220 per year.

A First Officer’s salary is Shs 26,883,675 monthly or Shs 322,604,100 annually. Those at the Promotional level for salary scale U3 earn Shs 19,158,500 or Shs 229,902,000 every year. The monthly salary of a Senior Aircraft Engineer is Shs 17,695,000 monthly or Shs 212,340,000 annually.

A Senior Avionics Engineer also earns Shs 17,695,000 every month or Shs 212,340,000. The salary of a Senior Avionics Technician, a Senior Electrical Engineering Technician, and Senior Engine and Airframe Maintenance Technician is similar to that of a Senior Avionics Engineer or even a Senior Aircraft Engineer.

An Aerospace Systems Engineer,  a Flight Engineer and a Senior Flight Engineer earn the same amount: Shs 15,150,000 every month or Shs 181,800,000 every year. The salary of a flight attendant is Shs 4,000,000 every month or Shs 48,000,000 every year.
