FALLING INTO THINGS: Top Journalists Land Juicy Parliament Jobs

Journalists Sarah Kagingo, Joseph Sabiti and Sadab Kitata Kaaya are now press secretaries at Parliament of Uganda.

Kagingo, a former president of the Public Relations Association of Uganda and ex-presidential assistant on communication, will be the Principal Press Secretary to the Speaker of Parliament Jacob L’Okori Oulanyah.

Sabiti, a former reporter at the defunct WBS TV, and an outgoing reporter and show host at NBS TV, will be deputy speaker Anita Annet Among’s press secretary.

Former Observer reporter Kitata will be leader of opposition in Parliament Mathias Mpuuga’s press secretary.

Kagingo, Sabiti and Kitata will report to Parliament’s director of communication and public affairs Chris Obore, who formerly worked with Daily Monitor.

The Parliamentary Commission recruited the three as staff of Parliament to play communication roles in the three top offices of the legislative arm of government.
