ENTITLED, ENVIOUS COWARD & HATER: Odrek Rwabwogo Disciples Blast Muhoozi for Calling ‘First Son-in-Law’ Uganda’s Biggest Thief

A group of youth calling themselves Disciples Of Odrek Rwabwogo, the ‘first son-in-law’ who is the husband to President Yoweri Museveni’s daughter Patience, has rapped first son and Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba for labelling Odrek “the biggest thief” in Uganda.

In an X (formerly Twitter) post on August 16, which he has since deleted, Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba wrote, “Mzee [referring to his father President Museveni], you arrested my friend, Michael Mawanda, and you are comfortable taking pictures with the BIGGEST THIEF in Uganda?”

He shared an image of Museveni with his son-in-law Odrek Rwabwogo at State House. But by the time Gen Muhoozi deleted his X post, several social media users had taken screenshots of the same and widely shared it online.

The Odrek Rwabwogo disciples have blasted the first son and CDF Muhoozi for his “reckless utterances.” Led by Yosia Mugaaju, The Odrek Rwabwogo disciples claimed the statements had no grain of truth in them, and that the first son-in-law was not a thief as alleged.

“The allegations made by Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba against Mr. Odrek Rwabwogo are unfounded, false and malicious aimed at mischaracterizing the latter in order to corrupt people’s perception and lower his public reputation,” Mugaaju wrote on behalf of the Odrek Rwabwogo Disciples.

“Odrek Rwabwogo is not a thief as alleged and whatever he does for our country is based on his patriotic motivations and inclinations to maintain Uganda as a stable home for all generations.”

They also accused Muhoozi of being envious and cowardly, The Odrek Rwabwogo Disciples have urged Ugandans to ignore the claims by the first son.

“Therefore, the utterances by Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba are emotive outbursts of chronic envy, the operative force of hate, the malevolent object of fear and above all it is project of intrigue enforced by an irrational coward suffering from extreme sense of entitlement,” Mugaaju.

“Whereas we note that Gen. Kainerugaba’s allegations have attracted social media curiosity, we ask the public to ignore the same with contempt proportionate to the magnitude of his malice and emptiness of their content.”

Gen Muhoozi has accused the Museveni state of imprisoning his political mobilizer MP Michael Mawanda, claiming that he was not arrested for corruption but for supporting his presidential ambitions. (See Details Here).
