DON’T BE A COWARD, WE’LL CELEBRATE YOUR BIRTHDAY BY FORCE: Ugandans Tell Gen Katumba Wamala after He Dismissed Plans for Muhoozi-Like Birthday Party, 2026 Presidential Ambitions

A section of Uganda has told Works and Transport Minister Gen Edward Katumba Wamala not to be a coward, insisting that they will celebrate his 67th birthday in a mega party and launch his 2026 presidential ‘project’ by force.

On May 05, The Pearl Times reported that some ‘supporters’ of Gen Katumba Wamala were planning a mega birthday bash similar to what first son Lt Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba held recently, and that some people were reportedly asking him (Katumba Wamala) to run for president in the so-called Katumba Wamala Project. (Read Story Here).

But Katumba Wamala quickly distanced himself from any preparations for a mega birthday party as well as 2026 presidential ambitions. (Read Story Here).

Now, in reaction to Katumba Wamala’s statement on his birthday bash and a possible 2026 presidential run, a section of his ‘supporters’ has told him to be bold and allow them to celebrate him, insisting that they love him.

Here are some of the reactions:
