Alex Ndawula, a celebrated and retired Ugandan radio presenter and DJ, has passed on.
Ndawula, who retired years ago, was aged 59. He was born in the United States in 1963. He would then return to Uganda following the death of his father in the early 1970s.
He studied at St Mary’s College Kisubi, Namasagali College and Nakawa Technical Institute.
A previous staff at 91.3 Capital FM and Sanyu FM, Ndawula passed on at Nsambya Hospital in Kampala.
He is said to have to have been admitted at Nsambya on June 06 but breathed his last hours later. Other reports claimed he had been admitted in the intensive care unit (ICU) at Nsambya Hospital.
Joining Capital FM in 1995, Ndawula was on the airwaves for a little over two decades. At Capital FM, he presented the Breakfast Show and the Dance Force on Saturdays.
