Balaam Barugahara, a popular events promoter and sworn supporter of Lt Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba and his father President Yoweri Kaguta Tibuhaburwa Museveni, wants government to declare the first son’s birthday a public holiday.
Born in 1974, Lt Gen Kainerugaba turns 47 on April 24.
Balaam, who refers to the first son as “our generational leader” as do all who believe in the Muhoozi Presidency Project, is convinced Kainerugaba’s birthday should be honorably celebrated with a public holiday declaration.
“Public service is it possible to consider 24th April Public Holiday,” wrote Balaam.
“[It’s] our Super Generation leader Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba’s birthday. Mutuyambe [help us].”
Kainerugaba, the commandant of the elite force charged with the president’s security, and his father’s senior advisor in charge of special operations, is said to be well positioned in the presidential succession queue.
