DEAD OR ALIVE! Here are Bobi Wine’s NUP & People Power Mobilizers Who Have Been Missing Since 2019

National Unity Platform (NUP) and People Power pressure group leader Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine has been shedding light on supporters and mobilizers of his political formations. The whereabouts of these people remain unknown for a few years now.

On micro-blogging site Twitter, WHERE IS HE has been trending for hours after Bobi Wine started publishing brief profiles of the missing men he accuses the Museveni state security agencies of kidnapping. It is not clear if these people are dead or alive given how long they have not reportedly been seen by their relatives and friends.

According to Bobi Wine, the following are the missing NUP supporters mobilizers whose whereabouts are unknown.

JOHN DDAMULIRA

John Ddamulira, 50.

Bobi Wine alleges that Ddamulira, aged 50, was ‘abducted’ on November 21, 2020. The NUP boss says that Ddamulira was at his shop in Kisekka Market when he was picked by armed security operatives.

“Police confirmed they took him. Gen Museveni read his name amongst those ‘arrested.’ Close to two years, no one knows where he is, or if he’s alive or dead,” added Bobi Wine.

“The family and our legal teams have moved all prisons looking for him. A court order for his release was issued and ignored. The regime wants to lecture us about patriotism!”

He went on to say that Ddamulira had 10 children and two wives by the time of his abduction. That these 12 people have had their sole bread winner missing since 2020.

MICHAEL SEMUDDU

Bobi Wine claims that Michael Semuddu was arrested from Munaku, Lubya Parish, Lubaga Division on November 21, 2020. The singer-turned-politician added: “He was violently taken away by heavily armed men, moving in a drone. Up to now, close to two years, there is no information about his whereabouts.”

MUHAMMAD KANATTA

Bobi Wine says that Kanatta was arrested from Walusubi, Mukono at 3:30am on December 23, 2022 after his alleged abductors reportedly broke into his house and took him away on gun point.

A parish leader aged 44 at the time of his arrest, Kanatta left behind four wives and 13 children, according to Kyagulanyi.

JOHN BOSCO KIBALAMA

That armed men bundled Wangolo into a drone and “all efforts to trace him have been futile.”

According to Bobi Wine, Mbabazi Kawenja was a boda boda rider aged 31 when he was reportedly abducted by heavily armed men from Kisekka Market on November 26, 2020, leaving behind his sick mother and three children.
