CONFIRMED: Uneb Announces UACE 2023 Results Release Date after Briefing Janet Museveni

Assessment body Uganda National Examinations Board (Uneb) has confirmed UACE 2023 results release date. Parents, guardians, teachers and candidates can now begin the countdown to the release hour.

Up to 110,579 candidates registered to sit their UACE 2023 exams last year compared to 97,889 candidates who sat in the previous year.

On the evening of Wednesday, March 06, 2024, Uneb, whose executive director is Dan N Odongo and its Chairperson Prof Celestino Obua,  confirmed the UACE 2023 results release date.

The confirmation of UACE 2023 results release date followed a meeting in Kampala during which Uneb officials briefed Janet Kataaha Museveni, the Ugandan first lady and minister of education and sports, on the performance of candidates in various subjects.

Given that she is also the first lady, education minister Ms Museveni normally has a tight schedule. But Uneb says Ms Museveni has assured them she will be available to officiate at the UACE 2023 results release on Thursday, March 07, 2024.

The UACE 2023 results release ceremony will happen at State House Nakasero an hour before midday.

“Confirmed: The First Lady and Minister of Education and Sports Janet Museveni will tomorrow release the UACE 2023 Examination Results at State House Nakasero at 11am,” Uneb said in a statement.

Ahead of UACE 2023 results release, you can see the of Uganda’s top best performing A-level schools in previous UACE sittings Here, There and Over There.
