Next Media Services has unveiled former NTV Uganda show host Charles Mwanguhya Mpagi as the new host of Thursday night NBS Frontline program.
Mwanguhya Mpagi will replace Joseph Sabiti who left at the end of August 2021.
Sabiti will now take on a new role as press secretary to deputy speaker Anita Annet Among.
Sabiti had replaced inaugural Frontline Show host Charles Odongtho.
Odongtho is now the host of Wednesday night Behind the Headlines show on state broadcaster UBC TV.
Mpagi had left NTV Uganda and Nation Media Group (NMG) to pursue political ambitions.
In the January 14 parliamentary elections, Mpagi garnered 17,081 votes in the Burahya County MP race but lost to Stephen Kasajia Kagwera who got 32,894 votes.
“OFFICIAL: Charles Mwanguhya is now a Transformer. Welcome to the NBS Frontline Team,” said NBS TV in a statement.
