SECURITY BRIEFING: President Yoweri Kaguta Tibuhaburwa Museveni is returning to Ugandan TV screens and radios for yet another address to the nation.
Museveni’s most recent national address was on the Covid19 pandemic lockdown on July 30.

But when he addresses the nation on Saturday, August 14, Museveni will focus on security matters.
According to senior presidential press secretary Lindah Nabusayi, the address will start at 8pm.
“President Museveni will address the nation to give a Security Situation brief to the country on Saturday August 14, 2021 at 8pm,” said Nabusayi.
“The address will be live on all Televisions and Radio Stations. Tune in.”
The Commander-in-chief of the armed forces is expected to touch on issues such as the latest on Investigations into the Gen Katumba Wamala shooting, installation of digital monitors on vehicles, Rwanda’s cyber hacking claims, West Nile rebel attacks, social media abuse and a rise in community crime.
