President Yoweri Kaguta Tibuhaburwa Museveni is expected to address Ugandans on a range of issues, including the Covid19 response and security situation in the country.
Senior press secretary Lindah Wamboka Nabusayi said the address will happen on October 28.
“President Museveni will provide an update to the Nation on the Covid19 situation and any other related issues on Thursday, October 28, 2021,” said Nabusayi.
“The address will be broadcast live at 8pm on all Television and Radio stations.”
In his address, the president is expected to give an update on Covid19 vaccination efforts and the journey to full reopening of the economy.
On the side of security, Museveni will assure Ugandans of his government’s efforts to dismantle terrorism cells, especially following the Komamboga bomb blast.
