New Police Chief IGP Abbas Byakagaba has dropped Fred Enanga from his role as the spokesperson of the Uganda Police Force (UPF).
In his first reshuffle at the Uganda Police Force, IGP Byakagaba, who was recalled from retirement to lead police, has sent Fred Enanga to Interpol.
At Interpol, Enanga will be the Deputy Director and in charge of International Relations. Enanga has since changed his profile from Uganda Police Spokesperson to reflect his new role.
Replacing Fred Enanga as the new spokesperson of the Uganda Police is ACP Rusoke Kituuma.
In his long career in Uganda Police Force, Fred Enanga has headed the Economic Crimes Department, served as CID Commander for Kampala Metropolitan Police (KMP), Commandant Land Protection Police Unit, and as Commissioner CID Administration and Training.
In 2022, Fred Enanga was promoted to the rank of Senior Commissioner of Police (SCP). In the same year, President Yoweri Museveni awarded Enanga the Golden Jubilee Award for his exemplary role and outstanding service in the UPF as well as for his loyalty to Uganda. (See Details Here and There).
