Uganda’s Chief Justice Alfonse Owiny-Dollo and his deputy Richard Buteera are said to be safe following an accident their motorcade was involved in Nakasongola District.
The accident that happened at Migyera along the Gulu Highway on July 07 has been described as ‘minor.’
The accident reportedly happened when one of the cars in the CJ’s convoy knocked one of the advance security vehicles.
In the incident, Deputy Chief Justice Buteera’s vehicle was slightly damaged.
But Judiciary Spokesperson Jameson Karemani has been quoted as telling government daily The New Vision that CJ Owiny-Dollo and his deputy Buteera were “safe” and that “they even continued with the journey.”
The accident took place a few months after CJ Owiny-Dollo’s office was burnt by fire. (Read Story Here).
