Dear editor, I read your stories about Kabaka’s low-cost estate called Mirembe estate Sentema.

Mr. Omondi, this is important to know. Kabaka’s Mirembe estate Sentema is for everyone who is willing to work hard to own his/her own property in Uganda, regards of race, tribe, religion, gender – name it. Everyone.

Over 400 units are going to be constructed on 55 acres of land. So far over 100 buyers have deposited for their ideal house type and 55 units are under construction.

I guess you already know that the houses come in one, two and three rooms, with spacious kitchen, dining room, bathrooms, parking, etc.

What makes this estate different form many you have seen, it is not only affordable but also the long payment period which is 24 months at zero interest.

Another benefit is that the gated community is helped with rubbish collection, power and water maintenance, landscape maintenance and tough security.

The estate shall upon completion have a shopping mall, restaurant, clinic, common garden and kids playing area. In short, it is a modern housing neighbourhood.

Now, you may want to know about how to buy these properties.

Follow the steps below:

1. Schedule a site visit.

You may want to schedule an appointment to either from their city office or get an officer from the company to take you to the actual estate and show you around. We have provided the contacts but also, check out their website www.mirembeestate.co.ug for more information.

2. Fill in a house application form

If you are satisfied with the property, you will go ahead to fill an application. The application will capture details about the buyer.

3. Sign paperwork

Paperwork involves a sales agreement. You will only need your national ID or passport before this is completed.

4. Make payment

At this stage, you are free to make your payment, either in full or installments. You may pay this money in up to 24 months.
