Sylvia Nagginda Luswata, the Nnaabagereka (queen) of Buganda Kingdom, has revealed that she and the king, Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi, welcomed twins in 2010, but have kept this a secret for a cool 12 years.
Born on December 06, 2010, the twins, Jade Nakato and Jasmine Babirye, are nearly 13 years of age. Until the first copies of her autobiography, The Nnaabagereka of Buganda Queen Sylvia Nagginda Luswata, started circulating, many outside the royal circle did not know that Nnaabagereka Nagginda and Kabaka Muwenda Mutebi had twin daughters.
Expected to be released on Thursday, March 23, 2023, the autobiography is a tale of the life of the queen of Uganda’s most prominent kingdom.
“On December 6, 2010, I was blessed with two more girls, Jade Nakato and Jasmine Babirye, born in Kampala,” the Nnaabagereka wrote on the book’s 205th page.
“They are two amazing kids who are mostly happy and are passionate about people which, at their age, I find astounding.”
