President Yoweri Kaguta Tibuhaburwa Museveni has fired Col Edith Nakalema as head of State House Anti-Corruption Unit (SH-ACU).
Museveni has appointed Brig Gen Henry Isoke to replace Col Nakalema.
Nakalema, Brig Gen Flavia Byekwaso and other officials are currently undergoing a one-year course.
Nakalema has been SH-ACU head since December 2018.
The appointment has been confirmed by deputy presidential press secretary Faruk Kirunda.
“H.E the President has appointed Brig. Gen. Isoke Henry as the new head of the State House Anti-Corruption Unit replacing Col. Nakalema who is on a course. Congs, Gen. Isoke!” wrote Kirunda.
Earlier, Museveni appointed a new deputy IGP. (Read story here).
