BREAKING: Deputy Speaker Anita Among Finally Opens Up on Her Boss Jacob Oulanyah’s Health Condition, Treatment Abroad

Deputy Speaker of Parliament Anita Annet Among has spoken out on the sickness and health condition of her boss Jacob Oulanyah, the Speaker of the 11th Parliament.

As we reported recently, Oulanyah was flown out of the country to the US for specialized treatment. (Read Story Here).

Now, after days of silence, Among has spoken out on the health condition of her boss, confirming that he is indeed out of the country for treatment.

The deputy speaker explained at doctors at the country’s referral hospital had recommended that Oulanyah seeks specialized treatment abroad.

“I wish to inform the Country that the Speaker of Parliament, Rt Hon. Jacob Oulanyah has been unwell for the last two weeks. During that period he was receiving medical attention from Mulago National Referral Hospital,” said Among in a statement issued on February 08.

“The Medical Experts at Mulago in consultation with his personal doctors, decided to refer him for further specialised medical attention out of the country. Subsequently on Friday, 4th February 2022, the Rt Hon. Oulanyah travelled out of the country. We pray for his speedy and complete recovery.”
