BREAKING: Buganda Kingdom Clan Head Shot Dead in Lungujja

Unidentified gunmen have shot Eng Daniel Bbosa (Omutaka Lwomwa Daniel Bbosa), the Head of Ndiga (Endiga – sheep) clan in Buganda Kingdom at Lungujja in Kampala, the monarchy has said.

The killers, who were riding on a motorcycle, disappeared after shooting Eng Bbosa (Omutaka Lwomwa Daniel Bbosa) dead.

Buganda kingdom shared pictures showing Ndiga Clan head Eng Bbosa’s body lying selfless in a vehicle registration number UAH 637X.

Charles Peter Mayiga, the Buganda Kingdom Prime Minister (Katikkiro), confirmed the news of the assassination of Bbosa.

Katikkiro Mayiga said Omutaka Lwomwa Daniel Bbosa was shot dead as he arrived at his Lungujja home on the evening of Sunday, February 25, 2024.

Mayiga said the motive of the killing was yet to be established but he promised to offer more details as the kingdom gets them.

This is the second high profile shooting by unknown gunmen in 2024 following the attempted assassination of Pastor Aloysius Bujjingo in January. (See Details Here, There and Over There).

Last year, a Museveni minister was shot dead at his home, gunmen killed blogger Isma Olaxes while a police officer killed an Indian money lender. (Read Details Here, There and Over There).
