NUP leader Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine has told members of the international community, particularly the US and Europe, that President Yoweri Kaguta Tibuhaburwa Museveni is a threat to Uganda and regional security.
In his remarks at the Geneva Human Rights Summit 2022 in Switzerland, Bobi Wine said that while some western powers look at Museveni as the glue that holds regional peace, the 77-year-old could be a threat to the country and security.
“The western world continues to tolerate and enable Gen Museveni because he is considered a useful dictator, good for regional security and national ability,” said Bobi Wine.
“I am here to tell the world with clarity that Gen Museveni is not the leader you think he is. He is a threat to the people of Uganda and yet he is a threat to the entire region.”
At the same event in Geneva, Bobi Wine asked the international community to do four dangerous things to Museveni. (Read Story Here).
