Barbie Kyagulanyi Itungo, wife to National Unity Platform (NUP) leader Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu aka Bobi Wine, has praised her husband and 2021 presidential candidate, saying Ugandans were lucky to have the singer and politician as their leader.
Bobi Wine unsuccessfully contested in last year’s presidential election which was won by President Yoweri Kaguta Tibuhaburwa Museveni of the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) party to extend his rule to four decades by the end of his current term in the year 2026.
But Bobi Wine’s NUP eclipsed the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) to become the main opposition party in Parliament of Uganda. Barbie Kyagulanyi says that Bobi Wine has great abilities, including wisdom that make her respect him immensely. Barbie adds that Uganda is so blessed to have Bobi Wine.
“See this incredible human being? He is more than meets the eye. You would never exhaust his abilities. Brah, it’s been more than Twenty years of flowing wisdom for me! I have immense respect for you Taata. Thank you for the daily life lessons. Uganda is blessed to have you serve her people at this point in your life,” said Barbie.
