President Yoweri Kaguta Tibuhaburwa Museveni is expected to address Ugandans today Friday, October 01, 2021 on a range of issues.
According to senior press secretary Lindah Wamboka Nabusayi, Museveni’s address will focus on “matters of national importance.”
The president’s address starts at 8pm and will be live from State House Nakasero.
“President Museveni will address the Nation [today] October 01, 2021 on matters of National importance starting at 8pm from SL Nakasero. The address will be live on all TVs and Radios,” said Nabusayi.
The president will be returning to Ugandans’ TV screens just a week since he addressed the nation on the Covid19 pandemic.
In his address delivered last week, Museveni eased lockdown restrictions.
Since then, the president has focused on the proposal to ban bail for suspected killers.
He is expected to use his address to tackle matters on bail ban, security and Covid19.
