Main opposition Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) presidential candidate Patrick Oboi Amuriat aka POA has suspended his campaigns after one of the cars on his campaign trail overturned, killing two party members.

The dead have been identified as Helen and Zulaika.

The accident happened in Nebbi District.

A member of the FDC media team put the number of the dead at 12.

The POA campaign said it was doing all possible to ensure the injured receive the requisite medical attention.

Earlier, Amuriat campaigned in Parombo Town Council, bordering the DR Congo.
