As Ugandan first son Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba continues to strengthen his team in his quest to succeed his father, the 78-year-old long serving President Yoweri Kaguta Tibuhaburwa Museveni, a number of women are becoming prominent for the roles they play on his team.
One of these is Kitgum District Woman MP Lillian Aber. Aber is currently the National Vice Chairperson of the MK Movement for Northern Uganda, having been appointed by Muhoozi himself at the end of March 2023.
According to Gen Kainerugaba, Aber is automatically a member of the Central Committee of the MK Movement. The female MP is becoming so close to the centre of decision making in the MK Movement that she recently accompanied the first son and senior presidential advisor on special operations to his Kigali, Rwanda trip where President Paul Kagame hosted Museveni’s son’s 49th birthday party.
So, when Aber shared about how grateful she was for getting an opportunity “to join my next president SPA/SO -Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba on this crucial diplomatic mission to Rwanda as he continues to build bridges and deepen bilateral relations,” one social media troll reminded her that Muhoozi was happily married to Charlotte Nankunda.
In response, Aber told this female troll to think beyond her legs or wait to have trouble with men. She went on to say that she was aware that Muhoozi was married to a beautiful woman and that there was no need of suspecting anything between him and the females on his team, but rather the need to focus on what these women of substance bring on table and what value they add to the MK Movement.
“Muhoozi Kainerugaba is married to the most beautiful and adorable woman in the world. So stop suspecting any woman working with him. My humble advice to you as a sister, is to begin thinking beyond legs and rather look at what your Brain holds that can be useful to your life and society. Otherwise, you will suffer in the hands of the other gender,” wrote Aber.
It should be remembered that Gen Muhoozi recently told his father Museveni to give way for him to rule Uganda, saying he was tired of waiting. (See Details Here).
