People Power and National Unity Platform (NUP) spokesperson Joel Ssenyonyi has revealed his wife Febress Nagawa is pregnant with twins.
Weeks ago, Ssenyonyi wedded Nagawa, who works with Padre Pio insurance company, in a scientific ceremony attended by People Power bigwigs, including the pressure groups’s leader Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine.
News of his wedding caught many by surprise, with the former NTV Uganda and UBC news anchor unveiling Nagawa in a simple tweet: “Behold Mrs Ssenyonyi.”
Until then, Ssenyonyi swore he was a virgin, the status that changed on the wedding night that happened sometime in his 33rd year of life.
Days after his wedding, a shy Ssenyonyi and Nagawa appeared in a video in which the Bobi Wine ally told his followers: “For the record, I am not a virgin anymore, and she is responsible [he said pointing at Nagawa].”

Now, Ssenyonyi has returned to report on the progress of his marriage, revealing that he and Nagawa are expecting twins in the coming months.
(The Pearl Times is aware some people want to start counting from the day of the wedding to be sure Ssenyonyi was not lying about keeping himself pure until marriage).
The born again Christian tweeted: “Salongo-to-be.”
As he gears up for the Nakawa West parliamentary seat contest, Ssenyonyi will be hoping for more than double: an election victory for him and his boss Bobi Wine, and twins — all due in 2021.
